Genius Hour is where class time is set aside on Tuesday's giving students a chance to learn about something they are passionate about. Students are challenged to explore any topic through Inquiry and present their learning to the class in a creative way. Throughout the process the teacher facilitates the students and their projects to ensure that they are on task and have support. The idea behind Genius Hour is to promote enthusiasm and creativity in the learning process as students have the freedom to select their own topics.
